Minuterie di Precisione uses optical measuring systems for its turned parts to ensure its products are of the highest possible quality.

The measurements are taken by Jenoptik machinery from the Opticline CS series which are fitted with video cameras to enable simultaneous three-dimensional measuring to measure even the smallest geometric elements with the highest resolution. The large number of measuring points and the mechanical precision of the rotational axis guarantee absolute accuracy of form measurements and maximum repetitive precision and stability of measured values.

The measurements are integrated into the production process.
Thanks to its compact and robust design, the CS series is suitable for production areas and complies with the IP65 regulation. The systems are equipped with auto-calibration and workpiece/environment temperature compensation. Real-time control of the quality standards of the workpiece during manufacturing enables adjustments to be made immediately. Having a single measuring system next to the lathe means measuring is faster and reworking time is reduced.
